*I was not paid for this review! I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion!

First off, I have to say that this is absolutely the coolest lamp I've ever had! I like to stay up late at night reading past the time when my husband falls asleep. He's constantly complaining about my lamp bothering him by being too bright, and I'll just throw a shirt or towel over it to try to dim it. I was offered to review this Dimmable LED lamp by OxyLED, and we just instantly fell in love with it!

The lamp has a nice smooth light surface, with a black, light blocking hood to it.  The base has a plug in the back and of course comes with an AC adapter plug. It also includes a dual USB charging port in the base so you can easily plug your phone or any other common device into it. The lamp is very lightweight, it only weighs three pounds! Setup was a breeze, I simply unboxed it, took the protective stickers off and plugged it in. It has a very sleek modern design and looks very high tech.

The controls are just amazingly easy to use and actually kind of fun to play around with! It's all adjusted with just the light touch of one finger! When the lamp is off, the center button in an amber color. I just tapped it with my finger, and it came on with super bright LED lights. When I tapped the button again, it switched to a softer warm yellow light. A third tap turned it off again. When the light is on, there's six different brightness levels you can choose from. All you have to do is drag your finger on the colored dots in a counterclockwise motion to dim them. To brighten, just drag your finger back clockwise until you find the perfect setting. It is extremely easy, and I was able to find the absolute perfect light level that I desired in just moments. It also has memory, and will resume at the exact setting that you had it on before turning it off. Usually, with my old lamp, I have to fumble around to find the switch to turn it off late at night and I'm half asleep. Last night, I just reached over and tapped the center button without having to search or fuss with it at all.
The light is also fully adjustable to literally any angle you may desire. The instructions suggest to hold the stem while you turn the light to the desired position. It had a little resistance, but was easy to turn and stayed in the exact position that I left it in. I was even able to turn the light completely upside down, pointing up at the ceiling, and it stayed there! The light has a solid black backing that is completely light-blocking, so if you point it in one direction, you won't get blasted in the eyes from the other side. It was amazing reading last night! My book was very clearly illuminated and very easy and clear to read, while the rest of the room was kept dark so my husband could sleep comfortably.
This really is the most amazing lamp I've ever had! I am thoroughly impressed with it, and my poor old lamp is going to have to go out to the storage shed now! It's so easy to use, even my six year old son immediately grasped how to use it, and I actually had to chase him away from it because he kept playing with it!
