Wow- this book was absolutely enchanting! I was absolutely enthralled from the very beginning and just could not put this book down! The blend of a dystopian society and fairytale elements was just mind-blowing! The storyline was absolutely unique and intricate and the characters were very complex with palpable emotions. It was absolutely fascinating to watch the awaking of emotions in Jade as she came to realize how deep the frost in her soul penetrated and her fight to overcome it. There was tons of action, lots of plot twists and the details the author indulged in were just incredibly intricate! The story was incredibly well written and just flowed beautifully with not one single dull moment throughout the whole book! The ending was perfect, with a nice opening for the second book to come into flawlessly. This series is definitely some of the best books I have ever read, and I would recommend them to anybody and everybody- even if this isn't quite your genre! These books are absolutely phenomenal!!
