Me and my husband absolutely love multitools! I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to review this awesome little 5-in-1 tire gauge and emergency tool by Mclintech. The multitool has a digital tire gauge, seat belt cutter, safety hammer, flashlight and red safety light. This is an absolutely perfect tool to have in your car for any emergency!
The tire gauge was very easy to use since it's all digital with a nice, clear display. You press the on button and then you can choose between either PSI, BAR , KPA or KG/CM - whichever setting you may desire to read. We decided to test the PSI of out boat trailer tire that was looking a little flat. The gauge gave us a reading lightning quick ,barely even took 2 seconds! We tested the accuracy by comparing ti to our old fashioned tire gauge, and it was spot on perfect! The ease of using this is awesome!
The multitool fits into the hand very nicely and has a nice, comfortable grip to it. On one end is a seat belt cutter. I didn't exactly have a spare seat belt to test it on, but it seemed sharp and I believe that it'd do the job. On the other side of that end, it has an emergency hammer that easily pops up by pressing a lever right below it. It locks into place and is solid steel with a pointy tip. I fully believe that it will break any window in an emergency.
The multitool also has a built in super bright torch and a red emergency LED light. The torch light is super bright and can help you easily find whatever you're looking for in the darkest environments! The LED emergency light is red and super bright as well. It's absolutely perfect to signal passing vehicles or as an emergency beacon if you need help. The light and the display for the tire gauge both run off of a AAA battery that you can easily install without a screwdriver.
Overall, I was very impressed with this handy little gadget and will be keeping it in one of our vehicles in case of future emergencies. It's nice and compact and can easliy be stashed just about anywhere handy in a vehicle without taking up too much room. Who knows, it might save our lives one day! At least I definitely feel safer just knowing that it's within easy reach at all times. I live in central Texas, and right now we are out of our drought season and everything is nice and green. I love watering the yard on the weekends, but for the longest time I've been doing it with a average garden hose with my finger over the end. After a while, this can get pretty tiring, not to mention time-consuming! When I had the opportunity to review this awesome garden hose nozzle, I nearly tripped over myself to go order it.
The high quality nozzle has a nice plastic grip that is very comfortable and fits in the hand perfectly. I can definitely spend long periods of time holding it! It came with a small pack of replacement washers in case a leak ever develops. I think that is very convenient since it's very annoying to use a sprayer that sprays you more than whatever you're watering. The nozzle also came with two quick connects to easily attach to any hose. They were very easy to use, you just popped one on the base of the nozzle and then simply screwed it on to the en of the hose. It was very simple, and sealed very nicely with no leakage whatsoever.
The nozzle was very easy to use, even my six year old son could handle it! You can easily adjust it for a variety of settings between a nice fine mist spray to a strong jet stream. To adjust, you turn a piece right below the yip of the nozzle. It is very easy to find the perfect setting you may desire. My son had a blast playing with the different settings, and I had fun playing with it too once i got it away from him!
I must say, this is the nicest, highest quality garden hose nozzle that I have ever used! The comfort and ease of use is incredible! My grass is definitely going to be a lot greener this season because I'm really looking forward to using this every weekend! I can't wait to wash the cars with it too! We have three vehicles , a large utility trailer and a boat on it's own trailer along with a riding lawn mower, heavy duty dollies and other various things. So you can say that we have plenty of tires that we need to keep properly inflated. I was recently given the opportunity to review the EPAuto 2 pack straight lock-on tire air chucks, and I thought it'd be a very useful gadget for my husband to have in his collection.
The air chucks seemed pretty heavy duty and of good quality. They had 1/4-Inch Female NPT and a 3/4-Inch Hex. I guess that's pretty standard for a tire shop's compressors. My husband decided to use his small pancake compressor since it's really easy to carry around. He had to connect a 1/4 NPT to the female end in order to connect it to his air compressor hose. Basically, it's the same everything, the only thing he gained was the clip to keep it on the tire valve.
We connected it to the air hose, then simply clipped it on the valve. It successfully aired it up to the maximum. There was no shutoff, it just kept airing up until we unclipped it and removed it. It didn't appear to have any leaks in it. It's a pretty neat little gadget, and is perfect for airing up huge tires. However, for the average person, I don't find it too convenient since you have to stand there monitoring it the whole time it fills.
If you have a lot of tires you need to fill and need one for yourself, you can get one here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B017S44ARO #LockOnAirChuck

I was given the unique opportunity to review these cute little travel bottles by Pot and Pan. They came in an adorable little box that would be great to gift them in! They're very soft, yet made out of a material that seems super durable. I got a three pack of red, blue and turquoise green that are very gender neutral.
On the neck of each bottle, you can swivel the display to show either soap, shamp , cond, sun, lotion or blank so that you can easily know what you have in them! They're a little hard to turn, so I suggest setting them while they're empty.
You want to be careful when you turn the settings, or you'll pop the seal and then it just drips water out the neck. It's a quick fix though!! Just roll the edges back over the edge and it seals up nice and tight again!
I filled it with some liquid soap, and it stood up to the drip test very well, without a single drop escaping! It was easy to squeeze out and stopped the second I needed it to! I was very impressed with these cute little bottles, and I'd love to take these on my next camping trip! And did I say how much I loved the material they're made out of?
If you'd like to get some for yourselves, they're available here: http://www.leadzonian.com/lead/gnzlz/complete-your-kitchen #potandpan We went through quite a journey to get my husband this work platform! It all started on a rainy, dreary Black Friday when my husband saw an ad in a Home Depot flyer. There was a special on this 47" Gorilla Ladder work platform for only $18.88, and he just immediately had to have it! He called around, and they didn't have any at our closest Home Depot (which is 22 miles away)....bummer! So, we called up to the next closest one in Boerne, which is 43 miles away. The hardware guy on the phone reassured us that they had over 40 sets up there and there was plenty to go around. It's been raining here every weekend for the past two months, so we decided to go for a little drive and go pick one up. We loaded up in my husband's truck , filled up on diesel and headed out in the pouring rain to get this ladder that he HAD to have. Forty-five minutes later, we're running in circles in the hardware department trying to find these work platforms! The workers flocked to us since we looked lost and one of them proudly told us that they sold the last one about an hour ago!! That's when we called and somebody told us that they had plenty to go around!! We gloomily trudged back to the truck and sat in the parking lot trying to decide what we're going to do now. I started calling stores in San Antonio, which was only an extra 20 minutes away, but EVERY store was sold out too. We tucked our tails and just decided to go back home, barely speaking to each other the whole way home. Later that night, at around three o' clock in the morning, my husband excitedly wakes me up to say he found some in Austin, which is 83 miles away. So, at the crack of dawn, we decided to pack up yet again, get more diesel, and make the long journey to hopefully get one this time. Well, we went into the store, and they had over 100 stacked up waiting for us. It was way more compact than we figured, we could've just packed it into he backseat of our car instead of bringing the truck. We were very happy walking out of that Home Depot this time!! Now, it's the next weekend, it's nice and sunny, and our neighbor wants us to paint her house trim for her. I thought it'd be a perfect opportunity to review this hard-to-get work platform!! The work platform come neatly folded up and is very lightweight and easy to transport. Folded up, it measures 47.25" long, 12" wide and 3.35" deep. I weighs only 11 lbs overall, made of lightweight aluminum, so pretty much anybody can carry it around. To set, up you simply pull the legs down, and they click into place. The platform has a 250 lb weight limit, and can easily handle a full grown man standing on it for any length of time. My husband really enjoyed using it to get just a little higher with his painting, since it is 1'8" tall. It was very durable, and never even shook as he was moving around. To fold back up, you simply push down a yellow button at the bottom of the leg and slightly wiggle the leg until it loosens and folds up. Overall, the gorilla ladder work platform was very easy to use, durable, lightweight, and it even looks snazzy! It was definitely worth the journey we had to go through to obtain it!!
