In this cold weather, my husband likes to take a big cup of coffee to work with him to sip on in the shop. One of his common complaints is that his current bottle is too small and he has to drink coffee out of a straw unless he takes the lid off. He works with granite, and there's a lot of rock dust floating around so he prefers to keep the lid on.

Royal Flask makes an awesome 30 oz flask that is sure to please my husband! Way larger than the average 24 oz tumbler, this king sized flask will keep him sipping coffee all day long! Made of stainless steel, this tumbler won't leak, spill or rust ever! It has double walled insulation to keep hot drinks hot for 12 hours and cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours as well as keeping the tumbler from sweating. One of my pet peeves is that a lot of bottles have weird nooks and crannies that are near impossible to clean. This results in a funky smell after a while that I just can't ever get rid of. This Royal Flask tumbler is remarkably easy to clean and I haven't noticed any funky odors whatsoever.
The lid is vacuum sealed and has a handy sipping spout, so no more drinking coffee out of a straw for my husband! He can definitely feel a little manlier drinking out of this one! The lid is also dishwasher safe, but not too sure if the tumbler itself is. It's so easy to clean that it really doesn't matter to me though. My husband absolutely LOVES this tumbler and it's the only one he'll take to work now!

Review - Talk to the Hand Shot Glass

I'm a down home country gal and I like to have fun on the weekends! Nothing wild, I usually just have a few drinks with my husband. One thing I enjoy is a decent sized shot glass! There's something unsatisfying about taking a shot that just didn't seem like enough. Then you have to take an extra to make up for it ;)
Make Em Laugh makes some really awesome shot glasses! I absolutely loved their "Talk to the Hand" shot glass. It seems somewhat Spartacus like with a nice level of toughness to it. It makes me feel like I mean business when I slam one down outta it! I love that their shot glass holds a nice 2 oz which is much better than the standard 1.5 oz puny shot glass. Honestly, I'm actually used to my 3 oz shot glass because well, you know, everything's bigger in Texas! But this shot glass definitely holds enough to satisfy my larger needs! It's way better than the average shot glass!
If you'd like to take a real shot, you can get one here (they also have so many other cool ones too!)

Review - SteadyDoggie Insulated Water Bottle

**I was not paid for this review! I received this product free of charge for my honest opinion!**

My husband works with granite, doing granite fabrication. His job can get VERY dusty, so it's very important that he has a drink container with a secure lid to keep all the rock dust out. He likes to take his morning coffee in a bottle of some type to help him rev up his morning. However, a common problem we have is that they don't retain heat for long and they're hard to clean. Coffee residue tends to gunk up in the tiniest little crevices and are a complete nightmare to try to get clean!

This unique water bottle comes with two interchangeable lids. The first lid is a flip top straw lid. It screws in very nice and snug, and it seems like it'd do a wonderful job at keeping dust out. The straw is easily removed to make it just a breeze to clean!
The water bottle is made of stainless steel and has double walled insulation. It looks very nice and snazzy and can be taken anywhere.

If you don't want to drink your beverage through a straw, you can easily swap it out with the handy handle with with a carabiner on it to easily clip where you might need it. Both lids are very secure and tight. I held it upside down and shook it for a bit, and not a single drop came even close to escaping. The thermos kept my husbands coffee warm for a few hours, I can't really say how long since he drank it all. He is very happy with his new water bottle and loves how clean his drink stays in his dusty job! And i'm happy because it's so easy to clean without all the annoying little weird crevices!

Review- Moscow Mule Copper Mug #coppermug

**I was not paid for this review! I received this item free of charge and all opinions are my own!**

I was given the unique opportunity to review this awesome Moscow Mule copper mug. Apparently, these cool mugs have a unique backstory to them!
(Quoted from the box)The "Moscow Mule" is actually an alcoholic cocktail that was invented in 1941 by John A. Morgan, president of Cock N' Bull products and restaurant; John G. Martin , president of G.F. Heublein Brother Inc. ,and the third was Rudolph Kunett, president of the Pierre Smirnoff. In 2012, a Moscow Mule kit that included Cock N' Bull Ginger Beer was included as part of Oprah Winfrey's Favorite Things list!
The Wall Street Journal published an article about the rampant disappearance of the unique copper mugs from local bars. The situation was so bad that bartenders were holding the ID's and credit cards of customers so they didn't steal the unique mugs.
The Moscow Mule is an all-around great drink. It's gingery kick makes it warming in winter, yet the lime flavor makes it refreshing in hot weather too!

On the side of the box, it had the above history as well as the original Moscow Mule recipe!

Moscow Mule Recipe
 (for 16 oz mug)

1-1/2 -2 oz vodka
1/2 oz lime juice
4-6 oz of ginger beer
ice cubes
lime wedge

Squeeze lime juice into Moscow Mule mug.
Add 2 or 3 ice cubes.
Pour in the Vodka.
Fill with cold ginger beer.
Garnish with a wedge of lime and serve with a stirring rod.

When I unpacked the mug, I was impressed with how well packaged it was! It was wrapped in tissue paper, wrapped inside of bubble wrap, wrapped inside a plastic bag! That shows me that they care about how the mug gets to you!
Picture
Once I got it all unwrapped, I was definitely impressed with how shiny and beautiful it was! It was almost glowing and just lovely! The Moscow Mule Mug is made of 100% pure copper and it really is just beautiful! It is NOT microwave or dishwasher safe however!

Since it was the morning time, and I'm currently pregnant, I decided to try out my morning coffee in it. I have my favorite glass Coke mug that I love since it's larger than a regular mug. As you can see, compared next to each other, it looks bigger. However, when I transferred the coffee to the Moscow Mule Mug, it filled it perfectly! OK, I'm officially in love with it now!
Picture
It held the heat of my coffee great for a while, though I think it'd work a lot better with cold drinks. I absolutely love this beautiful mug, and believe it's my new morning favorite!
