For some reason my hair just doesn't grow much. I think it's because I had a head surgery as a child and it damaged my scalp in some way. I'm always so envious of other people that can cut their hair and have it grow back inches in moths! I average about a half inch a year, maybe. Since I'm currently pregnant though, I've been taking prenatals and I believe my hair might actually be growing a little bit!Yay! So now I'm going hair crazy and trying to help accelerate my growth in any way I can.I thought the Rapunzel Hair Growth Shampoo would be a perfect secret little helper! The shampoo itself comes in a small 8 fl oz bottle that would be perfect for a travel bag. It's made of all natural ingredients to help nourish your follicles and help promote hair growth. It smells like lime and some floral type scent- it's very pleasant! It somewhat reminds me of key lime pie, which I think smells really pleasant. The consistency is a little thinner so it flows pretty freely and you only need a small amount. I hate shampoo that is too thick! Rapunzel lathers up very well and you can tell a difference once you rinse it out. My hair definitely felt smoother and softer after just the first use. I haven't been using it long enough to truly tell if it's helping my hair grow yet, but it definitely smoothed out some of my frizz and hydrated my hair! These cookies are so simple- they only take 4 ingredients! Since it's all stuff that's usually in my cabinets at all times, these are perfect to make when in a pinch!
2 cup all purpose flour 2 stick salted butter (1 cup), softened ½ cup powdered sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix softened butter, powdered sugar, & vanilla together. Stir in flour. Chill dough for 20-30 min. Scoop dough into balls. Flatten with the bottom of a glass using plastic wrap in between to keep the cookies from sticking to the glass. Flatten to about ½" thick. Bake 12-15 minutes. It's raining here, so I'm in the mood to share some comfort food recipes today!
4 cups cooked chicken, diced 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 (16 ounce) jar french onion dip 1 (10 ounce) can Rotel, drained 1 cup cheddar cheese 1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles 1 ½ cups French fried onions, crushed Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Cook egg noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, soup, dip, Rotel and cheese. Gently fold in cooked egg noodles and pour into prepared pan. Top with crushed french fried onions and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through.

I am just one girl. I feel so small, but I will draw strength from Mother's final words: You are never alone." --Aowyn One vow. One curse. One thousand moons. While Princess Aowyn's six brothers are favored by their father, Aowyn is the jewel in her mother's crown. When the Queen dies, Aowyn takes a vow to protect her brothers and father from the hungry eyes of the queen's handmaiden, Ciatlllait - who is more than she seems. In order to save her family, Aowyn risks a dangerous deal with the dark creature Sylas Mortas. But magic comes with a price: and Aowyn soon realizes the one she has paid is too steep. Only true love can reverse the spell...but it will take one thousand moons. Can she keep to her word with war and romance on the horizon? Set in a Celtic world, "Moonlight" is the story of faith and true love woven through a breathtaking coming of age retelling of the classic fairy tale "The Swan Princess" My Thoughts
I was enthralled immediately by this wonderfully touching story! The characters are complex, the storyline is enchanting and the action is constant. The tragedy was poignantly felt along with the emotional battles. I love the recreation of a well known fairy tail, yet it was still kept fresh with new twists. The writing was significantly better than her first book and tons more enjoyable! I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely story!

The Subtle Beauty
by Ann Hunter (Crowns of the Twelve Book One) A cursed prince. A vain beauty. Glory is the seventh daughter of Balthazar, High King of the Twelve Kingdoms. Glory hopes that - of all her sisters - she can escape the fate of a loveless marriage. But on the night she plans to elope with the royal falconer, her world comes crashing down: Her father announces Glory's betrothal to Eoghan of the Blood Realm - a prince no one has ever seen. The prince is said to be a recluse, cursed and deformed by the gods for the sins of his power-hungry father. Yet when Glory is trapped in Blackthorn Keep she discovers that not everything is what she expected. An insulting gryphon, a persistent ghost, and a secret plan to usurp the prince keep Glory reeling. Can she overcome her vanity to learn that what you want isn’t necessarily what you need—and save the cursed prince? My Thoughts
This is a really nice touching story with amazing potential to be much more! The storyline is fantastic even though the writer seems a little sketchy and disjointed at times. The characters are very believable and you can really connect with Glory. I was completely enthralled with the story and found myself thinking about it even while I wasn't reading it. I wish she would've gone a little more into detail sometimes and elaborated some more by adding more depth to Eoghan- you barely got to know him! Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Subtle Beauty from start to finish. With a little touching up, this could really be a heartrending fantasy!

About the Book:
Fifteen-year-old Ashira just received the worst coming-of-age prophecy imaginable. After years dreaming of oceans, princes, and fairies, she expected the diviner to prophesy she would live a life of adventure outside her ordinary desert village. Instead Ashira hears, “you will live a life of no renown.” Ready to choose her own fate, she discovers a djinni’s bottle and starts making wishes. When the djinni proves uncooperative and annoying, Ashira sets out to the great city of magicians to learn magic and free herself from an uneventful life as a potter's daughter. But there is another prophecy being whispered in the shadows. It is said that among the great magicians, there is a demon on the rise with the power to destroy the world. The djinni might be Ashira’s only chance to become someone important, or he just might be the very demon that triggered the dark prophecy. With the world on the brink of destruction, can Ashira fight her fate and stop the forces that threaten to upset the balance of the universe? My Thoughts:
I absolutely loved this book, it was a pure joy to read! Packed with adventure, action and a hint of romance, it kept me hooked from the first page. The characters were intricate and believable without getting too deep into dramatic emotions. The storyline was fantastic and fast-paced without any dull moments. It was so hard to put this book down that I found myself reading at every chance I could get! It was a true pleasure indulging myself in this read and I'm left daydreaming about being in the story myself. I cant wait to read more by this author!

I'm currently six months pregnant, and a common ailment I'm starting to suffer from is swollen tired feet. Also, my husband puts in 10 hour days doing granite fabrication and his feet are killing him when he gets home as well. Usually we'll just hand massage each other's feet on the couch after dinner, but sometimes we don't always have time for an extensive massage. I was thrilled to try out the Premium Wooden Dual Foot Massager by Armour 24!
The dual massager is made of high quality lotus wood with 10 rollers. The rollers have steel rods in the middle of them so you don't have to worry about squeaking. It measures 11.5 x 7.8 x 2 inches and weighs 1.8 pounds and even comes with a very handy drawstring travel bag with rope handles. This would be absolutely perfect for somebody suffering from arthritis or other ailment since it's so easy to transport! While light, this massager is actually pretty tough. It can handle up to 350 lbs of pressure, so you can go ahead and be a little rough with it to get a deep massage without worrying about it falling apart. Six non-slip dots on the bottom help provide a great grip on smoother floors.
The massager has 8 diamond textured bars and two with larger nodes on them to get into those toes. The wood has a polished gloss like finish on it and can easily be rinsed off if you happen to get foot gunk on it or if it gets smelly. The massager feels absolutely wonderful!! After only about a minute, my feet already felt so much better! I can control the pressure to get either a light massage or press down more to get a deeper massage. My husband and my six year old son absolutely loved it too! We actually had to convince my six year old to give it up and take turns because he was having fun on it. I especially like the little node bars. They can get in between my toes and I can rub my heels on them as well for a more penetrating massage. This massager has become a nightly routine for the whole family! Me and my six year old son just love to do arts and crafts together. He's so artistic, I call him my little Picasso and have to buy packs of printer paper for all his artwork! We have walls and the back of our front door just plastered with some of his best creations! I'm always on the lookout for new mediums to use to help keep his artistic flow going. Dauber Dawgs has some awesome dot markers that we just had a blast with!
The Dauber Dawgs dot markers come in the primary 8 colors- blue, pink, red, yellow, brown, purple, green and orange. They are non-toxic and washable, making them perfect for young children. The markers have somewhat curved bodies and can easily fit any size hand, whether it's small or large. The design is very appealing to kids! They are extremely easy to use, simply shake them for a few seconds, remove the cap and press to the paper. You can get small dots by a quick press, or you can get a larger dot by holding it there for a while. You can even draw with them! The ink flows pretty fast, so watch out that you don't bleed through the paper too much! Drawing with them is so smooth and easy, it's a lot smoother than regular paints! These are perfect for bingo, artwork, scrapbooking or even for making banners and signs! My six year old absolutely loved using these since they were so easy! And I loved them because the clean up is so easy!

I'm a bit of a water bottle nut and I'm always on the lookout for new quality water bottles that are also eco-friendly. I've had some really great experiences with Purifyou products before and was ecstatic to try out their lovely water bottle!
The Purifyou water bottle is made of entirely BPA free, Phthalate free, PVC free, lead free, cadmium free and worry free high borosilicate glass, which is more heat resistant than any other commonly used glass. The glass is the most durable in on the market and is covered with a food-grade high-impact-resistant silicone sleeve to protect it from drops. The sleeve also works as an insulator to help regulate the temperatures of your drinks as well. I got mine in the Pastel Green color and it's very bright, vibrant and easy to keep track of. The water bottle is 7.5" tall and easily fits into cupholders, bike cupholders and even a side pocket of a backpack or bag so you can easily take it wherever you'd like!
The mouth is medium sized and can still fit an ice cube in it while still being small enough that you don't make a mess while drinking it in a rush. The lid screws on and is also leak-proof so you don't need to worry about it dripping all over the place while traveling. The lid also has a nice ring on it that you can easily loop a finger through, hang on a hook or even attach a lanyard to for easier portability. The silicone sleeve helps the water bottle stay firmly in your hand without danger of it slipping out. I absolutely love my eco-friendly water bottle! It looks so stylish and I love telling people about all the neat features of it! If you'd like to look fashionable at the gym too, you can get one here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XTTGQ3O #purifyou

I'm a stay at home mom and slippers are one of my must have daily items. I love being able to just slip on something comfy to run outside real quick or to wear around the house to keep my feet cozy. Chicup makes some extremely comfortable, really plush slippers that nestle my feet in complete comfort!
I got the slippers in a lovely blue color that just looks so plush! The slippers are made of a coral velvet that is very soft and comfortable. It's very fuzzy and comfortable and feels wonderful on bare feet. The inside is somewhat cushioned and almost feels like memory foam, which is wonderful for wearing while walking around the house. The soles are made of TPR and are textured to provide a good grip while walking on smooth floors. I hate slippers that make me slip and slide all over the place! These never slipped and gave me very good grip on all my floors. I got a size Medium (8-9) and they were a little large on me, but they fit my husband perfectly. I absolutely love the rich color and they are a true pleasure to wear! Being slip-ons, they are absolutely perfect for my daily needs!
