This was a really intriguing read that completely captivated me from the beginning! With a very interesting storyline, intriguing characters and complex dialogue, this was a very well written story! I loved how it journeyed into the little-known gypsy culture! The main character was an absolute badass who still retained some girliness. The romance seemed instantaneous and is alright if you're into firecracker love at first sight. While the story was very well written, it did get somewhat bland towards the middle of the book. I kept reading and was rewarded with a explosive ending though! Overall, this was a very intriguing book with a strong heroine, some firecracker romance and plenty of drama.
Kathryn lives in Leicester with her family, writing full time (and loves that!) Kathryn always wanted to become an author and wrote her first story at age eight. But it took quite a while and lots of different jobs before she got published.
She's worked with gypsy and traveller children, working from a converted bus with a rainbow on the side, doing video and photography projects, and documenting travelling lives.
Mist draws on and is influenced by her work with this community.
She's also written scripts for a local video production company, many of them for children and teenagers.
