If you're like me and my husband, then you have a lot of keys! With three vehicles, riding lawn mower, two storage sheds, and countless tool boxes with locks, the keys tend to really accumulate. An then of course, there's those mystery keys floating around. We're not quite sure what they go to, but they ARE for something, so we're going to hang onto them for years in case we ever figure out what they go to. Keychains can get quite bulky, especially if you need to carry them in your pocket. A simple way to condense them all is to use a compact key holder.
Picture
The W-Plus compact key holder can hold anywhere from 2-15 keys, compacting them all into a small form about the size of a pocket knife. You can easily slip the key holder into a pocket without a bunch of bulging and poking. The key holder kit comes with all the needed pieces, a velvet like storage pouch and detailed instructions. The instructions make it look a lot more intimidating than it really is. I was able to put together a small bundle of 6 keys in less than 5 minutes.

I decided to combine keys from two different keychains that are for the sheds and come toolboxes to try to make it easier for my husband. I simply put a small black washer on two screws, inserted them into one of the bottom plates, put a red washer on, layered the keys on there, put another red washer, then top plate and screwed a smaller screw into the top. It was actually really simple and easy to do. There's extra spacers and some extenders included if you want to load it up with even more keys.
The keys tended to kind of wiggle loose and splay out the sides. However, when I tightened down the screw until they were absolutely snug, the keys stayed in there better. It seems the more keys you put in it, the better it holds. Overall, this compact key holder is a great way to cut back on bulky keychains!

*I was not paid for this review! I received this product free of charge for my honest opinion!

We like to grill a lot in my house. If the weather is acceptable, we grill about every other weekend! As the proud owner of five BBQ pits, it's essential to have a good grill brush. Wamder gave me the most awesome grill brush I've ever had to review!
Picture
Picture
The Wamder grill bush is very durable and comes with a handy drawstring pouch for easy storage. The drawstring has a nice loop on it that's perfect for hanging on a hook. The grill brush has a perfect length handle of 18" with a nice rubberized grip that is very comfortable to hold without any slippage. The length of the handle is absolutely perfect for keeping just far enough away from he flames and heat while still staying close enough to perfectly reach every spot. The brush is made of three separate rows of stainless steel bristles that wrap around the grates, cleaning the top, sides and bottom all in one swipe. The bristles are very sturdy and strong and can take on the toughest of "crunchies" left behind on the grill without scratching or damaging the grates whatsoever. The 6x reinforced handle is very strong and doesn't bend or flex with even the most firm of pressure.
I tried out the Wamder Grill Brush on my gas grill that hadn't been cleaned in a while. It powered through the crunchies and buildup very easily and left my grate looking almost brand new without any damage. It was very quick and effortless! I am very happy with the results of this grill brush, it's the best brush I've ever tried out!

Review- Ohuhu Expandable Garden Hose

*I was not paid for this review! I received this product free of charge for my honest opinion!

Anybody who has ever used a garden hose knows hoe much of a pain it is to get it all rolled back up and put away neatly. Most of the time, it feels like I'm wrestling with a giant snake trying to get the hose back in the storage box. Sure, there's things that you can turn a crank and it'll roll it up for you, but still that takes a while. A simple, no-fail solution is to get an expandable garden hose!
Picture
Ohuhu makes and expandable garden hose that is high quality and very durable! Amazingly, this 25 foot hose can fit into a tiny 7.5" x 4.3" box! This would make a spectacular gift for pretty much anybody. Inside the compact package is the hose, a versatile nozzle, and a spare washer. The hose is only 8.2 feet long when its unexpanded, which is a very manageable length. It is very light and very easy to carry around without being cumbersome. The nozzle has a nice grip and fits in the hand comfortably. It has eight settings - full, angle, shower, mist, center, flat, cone, and soaker - which enables you to choose the best flow for your current activity. The nozzle is very easy to use, I was able to switch the setting with just one hand by turning the ring in front of the markings.

Using the hose was very easy, and somehow oddly satisfying. I simple screwed one end into my spigot, and screwed the nozzle onto the other end of the hose. I turned my water on and watched the hose expand to a nice full volume. No water leaked whatsoever anywhere, it only came out when I used the sprayer. After I was done, I turned my water off, and the hose stayed full. I just sprayed the last of the water out of the sprayer until the hose was completely empty and shriveled up again.  I was able to take the sprayer off, shake the hose to get the last of the water out, and actually fit it back in the box for easy storage! I am very impressed with the ease of use of this awesome hose and the easy nozzle!

Review - TidyDocks Vent Filter

Where I live, in central Texas, cedar season is at it's peak right now. You can literally see the cedar pollen floating around outside it's that bad. And when cedar season isn't occurring , we have high mold or ragweed, or some other allergy going on all the time. I guess that's the price to pay for living in the country- extreme allergies! A great way to help combat the pollen is to use vent filters. Since I'm tired of inadvertently crying from allergies every day, I was thrilled to be offered to review TidyDocks vent filters.

I wasn't too sure exactly which size to get for my vents, so I got the 8x18 filter to try out. The package included the filter, three magnetic strips and a small tube of super glue. Installation was very simple. I placed the filter over the vent I wanted it on and marked the edges with a marker. I then cut it to shape. Then, I cut the magnetic strips to the exact lengths of the sides. You have to remember to factor in the corners! It took most of two strips to cover all the edges. The strips are more magnetic on one side than the other. The less magnetic side has a small white stripe on it. I used the supplied tube of super glue to attach the magnetic strips to the filter edges, and almost immediately they were dry and ready to put on the vent.
The filter is made of a polypropylene mesh in a soft PVC grid device that is fully washable. That's a huge bonus so you're not always having to buy new filters. The filter is meant to be placed over forced air HVAC vents and cold air returns. The vent filters significantly reduce the amount of dust, dirt and pet hair from being pulled into the HVAC system. They are also great for bathroom exhaust fans by helping to keep out all the dirt and other things that may clog it, making you remove the whole vent cover to clean the fan constantly. Also, if you live in the country and have a lot of critters and bugs, they can help prevent them from moving around through your vents from room to room.
The TidyDocks vent filters are easy to install and easy to clean. I've only been using it for a few days, but already it feels like it's a little clearer and easier to breathe in my house.

Review- Sabermate Magnetic Knife Holder + Knife Sharpener

*I was not paid for this review! I received this product heavily discounted for my honest opinion!

I'm a stay-at-home-mom and I absolutely love to cook. We rarely go out since I can usually cook better meals than any restaurant.  However, my kitchen is pretty small, and counter space can be a real challenge. I like to keep a variety of knives on hand, and I have two somewhat large knife blocks taking up valuable space on my counter. I've always wanted a magnetic knife strip, jut have never gotten around to actually acquiring one yet.
Picture
Picture
The Sabermate magnetic knife holder is made of a durable aluminum type metal in a nice sleek design that fits in with almost any decor. It measures 15" long and can be mounted practically anywhere. A handy mounting template is included so you can get it easily installed on the first try. Installation is a breeze, you just mount the screws, pull the two endcaps out, place on the screws and pop the endcaps back into place. Once it's on, it's very sturdy and definitely can't be shook loose. It's actually a little bit of an effort to get it back off! The magnets in the strip are pretty strong and can definitely withstand my six year old jumping around the kitchen like a lunatic. You have to give the knife a good little tug and a slight twist to get it off the strip.

The knife sharpener that comes with the strip is very handy to have also, and can be an invaluable tool when cooking in the kitchen. It's made of a plastic material and has two non-slip pads on the bottom of the main part to give it a firm grip on the counter. The knife sharpener has two different slots. There is a Coarse slot for getting those rough edges sharp, and it has a Fine slot to smooth away all the burrs and to polish the knife edge. To sharpen, you grasp the handle firmly while it's flat on the table. You pull the knife through the coarse slot a few times and then repeat through the fine slot until you have a nice honed edge. The sharpener works very well, it only took about 8 pulls through each slot before my knife was razor sharp.
Overall, I'm very happy with my knife strip and sharpener! They look great in my kitchen and help me free up a lot of counter space. I can also keep all  my knives top of the line sharp with minimal effort now!

Review- Pyoure Sandalwood Apple Cleaning Solution

*I was not paid for this review! i received this product free of charge for my honest opinion!

A common challenge to every housewife is trying to keep the house clean. I have a wild six year old son and a husband that does granite fabrication during the week. It gets worse on the weekends because my husbands also a weekend warrior with our son as his sidekick. I can't tell you how many times I've cleaned the counter, walked away, and as soon as I come back, there's a greasy machine part or dirty paintbrushes laying on my freshly cleaned counter! I usually use a homemade bleach solution to tackle my general cleaning. However, I always have to be careful about keeping my clothing well away from what I'm cleaning until it dries. To top it all off, I'm six months pregnant right now, and the smell of bleach is nauseating at times to me.

The Pyoure cleaning solution is concentrated and comes in a 16 oz bottle. Each bottle makes 80 fluid oz of solution. You simply mix one part cleaning solution to four equal parts of water. It was very easy for me to mix a small bottle up just by eyeing the mixture and not having to actually measure it out. It suggests that you store the solution in a dark bottle away from direct light. The solution is 7% hydrogen peroxide so it still sterilizes and has enough kick to it to really get in there and clean. It's also non-toxic, so it's completely safe to have around children and animals!
The best thing about this cleaning solution is the smell!! I got mine scented as Sandalwood Apple and it is absolutely yummy smelling! I cleaned my counters and the stove and it smelled like I burned a candle in my kitchen. It was very pleasant, and I find myself cleaning other random things just because it smells so nice. This solution is nice and strong and cut through last night's cooking stains on the stove with minimal effort whatsoever. I didn't even have to soak it like I usually have to do with bleach. Pyoure even seems to be safe for clothing. I've used it on some rags, and it never stained or discolored them like bleach or other stuff does. Overall, I'm very impressed with my Pyoure cleaning solution- it smells wonderful and it's tough enough to get the job done!
